Marie  Peacock

SUMMARY

Marie Peacock spent 27 years as a legal secretary before she started her gardening business. She became a CSU Cooperative Extension master Gardener in 2000 and started her business the same year. She moved to Colorado in 1981 and discovered the challenges of growing plants in rock as opposed to the rich soil she grew up with in the South. She mastered the challenges of gardening in the Rocky Mountains and has had a successful landscape business for 9 years, specializing in xeriscaping, renovation, design, maintenance and installation.

After careful consultation with the homeowner regarding their particular needs, we strive to create a garden oasis tailored to each individual's preferences. CURRENT PROJECT

Beckett House
We created a beautiful and comfortable backyard, ideal for both children and entertaining in a South Denver home landscaped previously with timbers, rock and inhospitable hedges on one side of the yard. In creating this particular landscape, we added a stamped concrete patio wrapping the back of the home, with an outstanding water feature complete with two waterfalls, koi pond and a stream. We created a separate flagstone area facing out to the garden, ideal for intimate dining or hammock use, as well as a secret garden perfect for children's tea parties or sipping wine in solitude amid an English flower garden.
